Can I install new windows and doors in my listed property?

If you’re changing the appearance of your doors and windows, you’ll need to obtain listed building consent first. Even if you’re planning to install a like-for-like match, it’s still advisable to consult your local planning department beforehand.

Do you install uPVC windows?

All our windows are made-to-measure from timber. This ensures that they retain the character of the property and provide excellent durability, sustainability, and thermal efficiency. Where are your products made?

All products are made on site in our UK workshop by our team of expert joiners. With more than 100 years’ combined experience, they continue to use traditional British joinery methods. Customers are welcome to come and visit us to see our team in action.

What types of products do you make?

We design, manufacture, and install made-to-measure joinery, specialising in sash windows, wooden windows, and doors, as well as joinery repairs. However, we are also able to use our expertise to provide bespoke joinery and will turn your ideas into reality.

Is your timber sustainably sourced?

Absolutely – we are committed to the sustainability of our timber products.

What types of wood do you use?

Why is wood a good choice for doors and windows?

There are a number of advantages that make wood an excellent option for doors and windows. In particular, it has excellent thermal performance, looks beautiful, and is a traditional building material used within properties in a wide range of architectural styles.

What types of windows do you offer?

We manufacture bespoke sash and wooden windows to your exact specifications, ensuring that they are the perfect fit for your property. We can also repair existing wooden windows.

What types of doors do you offer?

We manufacture a range of external doors, including front doors, French doors, bi-fold doors, and garage doors. All our wooden doors are made-to-measure and built to last using high-quality timber.

Will my products be guaranteed?

How long will it take for my new doors or windows to be made?

The lead time for your joinery will depend on a variety of factors. This is something that we’ll discuss with you during your consultation once we have a clear understanding of your requirements.

Do you offer an installation service?

We do. We can install all the doors, windows and joinery that we make, ensuring that they fit your property perfectly. We can discuss this process with you during your consultation.

What are your payment terms?

We will issue our invoice on the day of completion. We accept payment by cheque, direct bank transfer or credit card. Please note that any payments made by credit card over £3,000 will be subject to a transaction charge of 1.2% – this covers our expenses. American Express cards are not accepted.

Will I get a quote for the work?

Yes – we will provide a full itemised quote for your project after your consultation.
